Birthday Parties, Surprise Events and Family Celebrations – Gombás Restaurant

• Reservations are recommended for groups over 4 people, and required from 10 people.
• We accept à la carte events up to 40 guests with prior phone consultation to ensure smooth service preparation.
• Menus can be fully customized from single-course meals to multi-course selections.

Cake Bring-In Policy

Cake is allowed in all cases with a service fee of 300 HUF/person.
Fireworks for cakes can be requested from our staff.
Please label cake boxes with the family name.
Inform our staff upon arrival about the celebrant.

Pastries and Homemade Desserts

Bringing homemade pastries is allowed and recommended, as it enhances the atmosphere of family and birthday events.

Decoration

All rooms can be decorated freely by the organizer.
Decoration may be set up the day before the event upon prior agreement.
Both private and professional decoration services are allowed.

Surprise Parties

Zsuzsanna terem and Mediterrán terem are ideal for surprise parties from 10 to 100 guests due to their separated layout.
Our staff actively supports event organization to ensure maximum surprise effect.
Please ensure that the guest of honor does not see familiar vehicles parked in front of the restaurant.
It is recommended that guests arrive at least 1 hour earlier.
This allows the atmosphere to build before the guest of honor arrives.

Garden Area – Shaded Outdoor Events

In addition to indoor rooms, our garden area is available from approximately May 1 to October 1. It offers a natural, shaded and family-friendly environment for outdoor dining, birthdays and gatherings.

The garden area provides:

• intimate seating for smaller groups
• well-structured layout for larger events
• natural shading from trees for summer comfort

Outdoor events are especially popular for family celebrations, birthdays and friendly gatherings.

Children’s Programs

To make family events even more memorable, we recommend our partner Csillámpofi for professional children’s entertainment. These programs are not operated by the restaurant but can be arranged for events.

Available activities include:

• face painting
• glitter tattoos
• balloon twisting
• creative workshops

Children can enjoy themed designs, creative play and take home their creations. Outdoor and indoor setups are both possible depending on the event.
